CONTROL FREQ RECORDINGS THE BRAND NEW LABEL FROM FILTHY RICH

Conquering dancefloors the world over with his distinctive, sleazy, pigeonhole-defying minimal/tech/electro/well… Filthy Rich take on house music, he has decided the time is right to take the logical next step. In March 2007 Rich is proud to announce the launch of his own Control Freq Records, the perfect platform to showcase his irresistibly dirty, nasty sound. A natural in the studio with a discography of quality tunes that would take most producers a lifetime to knock out, Rich has released a multitude of critically-hailed tracks and remixes on a staggeringly varied range of labels. This has given him the confidence to take the bold step and go it alone.

The label will reflect Rich’s intensely enthusiastic and forward thinking attitude to dance music. Open-minded, fresh and refusing to stick to one sound – the one thing that is guaranteed is music of the finest quality. Initially the springboard for Rich’s own productions, the debut release is his own club-thumping ‘Get Down’. Backed by mixes from Prok & Fitch and Hauswerks, the usual suspects are all over this and it has been featured on Seamus Haji’s Essential Mix on Radio 1.

Hot on the heels of that will be two more Filthy Rich beauties, ‘Calling All Freaks’ and ‘Let’s Get Dirty’ both will be titles full of the usual expectations – dirty, freaky, bass-heavy club music! With a stellar team of cutting-edge remixers on board, expect to hear these rocking at a club near you soon!

As the label grows, expect to hear yet more boxfresh cuts from Rich himself, storming remixes and the cream of the crop of new talent. Unbounded by genres, unrestricted by rules - anything that fits in with the unique Filthy Rich vibe will go!
