Darren Emerson's record label 'Underwater
Records' is a label renowned for
only the best in 4/4 house music releases.
So far, artists such as Tim Deluxe, gus
gus, Mutiny, Paul Woolford, Sam La More,
Paul Jackson and many more have all released
tracks on the label... The label takes 'Underwater' club-nights
throughout the UK and Europe, bringing
only the best talent from house music
to receptive audiences everywhere… In
Ibiza this year, Underwater will host
every Tuesday night at Pacha, the Island's
oldest, most beautiful and musically
respected club. Not only will Darren
Emerson and Tim Deluxe be weekly residents
as well as the best talent in house music
from around the globe. But also, to be
a little different, the label is bringing
in a different flavour; to educate clubbers
from around the world that it's
not in fact 'all about house music'...
Regarded as the most influential figures
of the UK Hip Hop and R 'n' B
scene, Radio 1's Tim Westwood and
Trevor Nelson will be taking their sound
to the global room at Pacha this year
with Underwater. Westwood will be monthly
resident whilst Nelson will lay his flavour
on twice throughout the season... It's
gonna be big baby...

"Hip Hop is everywhere now, but there are
few places you can hear house music and
Hip Hop together. So where better then Pacha,
Ibiza? We really want Underwater to be like
a festival style event - a mish mash of
amazing sounds - covering all that's good
about house (in our opinion!) in the main
room and then bringing the people we really
admire in the hip hop and R 'n' B world
into the global room. If it works we would
like to do a main room sound clash in September!
People like Tim Westwood have pioneered
hip hop in the same way UK DJs have pioneered
house so well. He is so respected both abroad
and in the UK - if we can harness the energy
of hip hop and R 'n' B within the clubs
that house music already packs out - it
can only mean we that clubbing has a VERY
healthy future. Plus it's nice to hang out
with new people and understand their genre
and show a bit of respect! This summer we'll
see Tim Westwood join us monthly alongside
Trevor Nelson, Scratch Perverts and Finger
Lickin Records with Krafty Kuts, A Skills,
Tom Middleton and more TBA rock the Global

Underwater will be at Pacha, Ibiza every
Tuesday from June 17 to September 23.
You can catch Westwood in the global
room on June 17 (opening party), July
22, August 12 and September 9. You can
catch Trevor Nelson in the global room
on July 8 and August 19.
